MS Excel fun tip of the day : MS Excel was initially launched for MAC users

The spreadsheet program before MS Excel was launched in1985 was called Lotus 123. Lotus initially had not launched  the spreadsheet program in support for MAC users, but later on decided to launch a new spreadsheet program for MAC users called “Jazz”. That is why Microsoft in its initial launch released Excel only for MAC systems. With Excel becoming a huge success and “Jazz” failing miserably, Microsoft after capturing the market released Excel for WINDOW users in 1987.
